Within the scope of the comprehensive, preventive and corrective maintenance contract for 38 motor generators from various companies of the EGF Group from the north to the south of the country, in 2020 Manvia ensured the preventive maintenance of 60,000 hours for a GE320 engine at Valorsul.
Integrated in the Mota-Engil Group, EGF is a reference in the environmental sector and a leader in the treatment and recovery of waste in Portugal, with shareholding in 11 waste treatment systems, operating in 174 municipalities. Valorsul is one of the subsidiaries.
Essentially made up of GE (Jenbacher Gas Engines) engines, Valorsul’s plant adds value to Manvia’s service portfolio for this area and represents another challenge for the company.
To this provision of services have contributed both the know-how and experience acquired by Manvia, and the partnership between the two companies, which dates back to 2017 and which always takes into account the guarantee of the best financial profitability in all interventions.
At the same time, Manvia has invested in strengthening the skills of its technicians, with specific training in that Austrian engine brand – Jenbacher. At this moment, a training course with our Technicians is scheduled at this factory in early August.
