Manvia Condutas is the first contractor contracting and executing a work in the scope of the General Drainage Plan developed by the City Council of Lisbon.
The works, underway since January 2019, must end November this year and will allow to solve various storm water drainage problems at the Q Basin of Lisbon, that covers the parishes of Olivais, Moscavide and Parque das Nações.

The work includes the execution of a new storm water collector under Av. Infante D. Henrique built through the microtunnel method. This collector has an external diameter of 1.5 m, a total length of 320 m and will be executed without digging trenches in depths varying between 6 to 9 m.

Other refurbishment and repair work of existing canals and collectors are included in the contract, such as the refurbishment of a transition chamber near the Altice Arena and the construction of five new water flow distribution chambers in various points of the river basin.

In the scope of Lisbon’s General Drainage Plan very important investments in the construction and refurbishment of the city’s stormwater drainage network are foreseen, expecting that Manvia Condutas may participate in some of those investments.
