Operation and Maintenance of Reverse Osmosis for leachate treatment in Côte d’Ivoire

Manvia signed a contract for the Operation and Maintenance of three Reverse Osmosis units in a waste collection and treatment Centre in Kossihouen, approximately 50 km from Abidjan, capital of Côte d’Ivoire.

It is a 24-month contract, and successive renewals are foreseen for an equal period.

Reverse Osmosis is a treatment process through which a chemically and bacteriologically, free of contaminants water is obtained.

The Reverse Osmosis units are installed in a 40’’ maritime container and contains all components required for the process, namely pumps, pipes, valves, filters and instrumentation and electrical equipment. Each unit has a 200 m3/day treatment capacity.

The waste Centre is operated by Mota-Engil through the company Eco Eburnie and serves a population of approximately 4.5 million people.
