In the scope of the follow up audit process of Manvia’s Integrated Management Systems (IMS), an audit to the services of sorting and loading of grinding media was held on the 25th September.

The audit team monitored the grinding media sorting service and the mill loading taking place at the Cimpor factory in Souselas.

These certifications executed by SGS, world leader in inspection, verification, tests and certification, allow to validate that the services provided by Manvia comply with national and international regulations and standards.

On site, it was possible to watch Manvia’s employees sorting the grinding media and checking the entire supporting documental process and activity’s operative control, as well as work equipment on site.

The client participated actively, guaranteeing the execution of the initial safety induction to access the factory by all players, as well as monitoring and availability of support facilities for the audit’s opening/closing meeting.

The audit team confirmed Manvia’s proper level of local IMS implementation, highlighting as strengths the organization of the activity and work equipment.

The formal feedback of this audit will be registered only with the completion of the follow-up audit process in November.
